Opened in 1995 by William Hodges as B J Home Brew, Bill took a favourite hobby and a real passion for home brew and turned it into a thriving business.

Bill has shared his knowledge and enthusiasm with customers for many years, but is now retiring to his brewing shed. The business mantle has now been passed to another home brew enthusiast, Mike Brock-Cook.

Mike has decided that being a property surveyor in the current climate is not so great - but talking about home brew all day is heaven, so he has taken up the challenge and is planning to rebrand as Stroud Home Brew and take the business to new heights.
